SCHECTER Brand Story

In the 1980s, the Pacific wind from the west coast of the United States blew over the steep slopes of San Francisco. A mechanical engineer rode an old steel-frame bicycle through the winding streets. Sweat soaked through his clothes, but a hearty smile appeared on the corners of his mouth. He is obsessed with the pure sense of speed on bicycles, and even more obsessed with the freedom that seems to break free from all constraints - the city is his playground, the wind is his companion, and every circle of his feet is a private dialogue with the world.

"Why can't we have a car that is as light as the wind yet can carry all the possibilities of life?" This thought took root in his mind. Ten years later, **Schecter** was born in a coastal garage in California. The name comes from the German word for "creator" (Schöpfer). The abbreviation "Schecter" unexpectedly carries the rhythm of "streamline" in the Latin language, as if it was destined to break through wind resistance with simple lines.
